Practicalities
Quickest way is to fly to Amsterdam Schipol airport from all London airports. Cheapest are Easyjet from Stansted.

Trains run to Amsterdam Central Station every ten minutes. It takes around 15 minutes and 5 Euros.

By train the Central station has connections to Belgium, France and Germany. You can travel to Eurostar to Brussels and get a connecting train to Amsterdam. There are regular trams #2 and #5 link with Central station.

Transport links are good, so don't despair if you are further out from the centre.

Maximum number : 15 maximum.

Links for easy jet and Amsterdam Central station below.

Also I would advise to book in advance to get into the Anne Frank house. This is important because the website page state that they only accept online bookings for entry before 3.30pm.
