We welcome walkers with a visual impairment on our walks.  But we do need you to arrange assistance in advance.

If you need a guide, then we would usually expect you to bring one with you on a walk. But if that is not possible, you are welcome to ask the Walk Leader or any Committee Member to post a request on our Facebook page asking any Ramblers member planning to join the walk in question if they would be willing to guide you on the day.  Please do this as far in advance as possible, to allow enough time for a volunteer to come forward, of course we can't guarantee a volunteer will come forward, but we'll do our best.

Capital Walkers also arranges occasional joint walks with the London Blind Rambling Club. We are happy to provide sighted companions on these joint walks, on a 1:1 ratio, organised in advance.  These are advertised on our walks and socials programme.
