As well as our walks Capital Walkers has an active social programme. Our socials are organised by volunteers and provide a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to see what we look like when not covered in wet weather gear!
Both members and non-members are welcome to come along to our social events. They are a good way to get to know us better in addition to our fabulous walks. Once you have tried three taster walks or social events we do ask you to become a Ramblers member.
All our socials are advertised in our walks and socials programme. Here are some examples:
- Dinner at various restaurants in the capital.
- Theatre visits to the Bromley Little Theatre and Arcola Theatre, Dalston.
- Ceilidh: A visit to Cecil Sharp House to learn Gaelic Dancing.
- Travelogues: on-line presentations of members’ experiences of trekking or “tramping”.
If you would like to organise or suggest an idea please
