We have done weekends away recently to Cheltenham,  Weymouth, Skipton, Leamington Spa and Hastings. For these trips people booked their own accommodation. We have also led walks covering the whole of the South Downs over a number of weekends, which involved overnight stay in B&Bs, hotels, etc. Another trip was a hill walking trip at Edale, which involved staying overnight in a youth hostel.

There have been several overseas walking trips to Switzerland . It was based in Wengen with walks in the Bernese Oberland area which included spectacular views to the High Alps, the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. We also arranged a trip to Elan Valley, which was independently run and the Lodge provided walk leaders who guided us. We organised several trips with HF Holidays to Church Stretton, Coniston in the Lake District and Sedbergh in the Yorkshire Dales. These weekends were different in style with all attendees staying in the same hotel with the walks led by the staff. We also do a walking trip which includes a New Years Eve Party and recently have been to Berwick, Shrewsbury, Bath and Exeter for New Years.

Our weekends away are open to all members of the Ramblers. We email our members whenever a new event is planned.
