The Capital Walkers is run entirely by volunteers. Our group is part of the Ramblers, a not for profit charitable organisation, and we volunteer because we like meeting other people and sharing our enjoyment of walking.
There is an elected Capital Walkers committee who oversee and run the group. They also organise the walks and social programme. We always need new people keen to help run the group by volunteering to organise something, help with administration, put on a walk, social event or weekend away. Our walk leaders volunteer their time and expertise to put on walks and socials both within London and further afield.

The group is part of the Inner London area of the Ramblers, which is the local part of the Ramblers Association, a registered charity (England & Wales No: 1093577, Scotland No: SC039799).
